Gemma Hall

Gemma is a Perth-based film and theatre maker that is passionate about the creation of original, entertaining and engaging work. With a Bachelor of Media (Majoring in Screen and Sound), she has taken on a variety of roles both in film and theatre, from producing, and directing, to wardrobe and everything in between. She has worked on a wide range of film projects, including short films, music videos and feature films and commercials, while also ac-cumulating extensive experience in theatre as a producer and director. Most notably she has produced the indepen-dent feature film Pulse, which has won a number of awards including the Busan Bank Award at Busan International Film Festival, screened at festivals including CinefestOz, Sydney Film Festival, Gold Coast Film Festival, and was the centrepiece of Melbourne Queerfest. She was also a director of the acclaimed stage production Point & Shoot, which collected awards including The Argus Angel and Argus Arch Angel at Brighton Fringe Festival in the UK, and Best Cabaret at Sydney Fringe.
