Jacqueline Pelczar is filmmaker from Perth, Western Australia. Since graduating at the end of 2015, Jacque-line has produced, written and directed four of her own short films, most recently completing “HUSH” which was officially selected for the CinefestOz Festival Program in 2018. Jacqueline has established her self as a local mu-sic video director, her videos featuring on MTV Australia, Rage (ABC) and in nation-wide festivals. In 2017, Jacqueline produced and edited the Screenwest and NITV documentary Beni Bjah. Later in 2017 she collabo-rated with international, multi – disciplinary performance artist, Sarah Nelson, in an intense two-week collaboration supported by The Blue Room Theatre, resulting in a short film project currently in post-production. Jacqueline has previously held a year-long position with Screenwest, Western Australia’s state funding body for Film and TV. Currently, she works with DADAA (Disability in the Arts, Disadvantages in the Arts) as a mentor to artists with dis-ability.
