Kate Kugler is a writer/actor/director dedicated to bringing bold, boundary-breaking women to the screen and behind the camera. Most recently, Kate performed lead roles in independent films Sister Mercy (premiering at Fantasia Festival 2019) and Intersect (premiering at Boston SciFi Fest 2020). She wrote, created and starred in dystopian sci-fi series Elysian Fields (winner of the Ron Brown grant) and chess thriller J'Adoube (premiering at Oaxaca International Film Festival 2019). Kate's theater credits include leading roles in productions by Arizona's Vessel Theater, Progressive Theater Works, and Phoenix Theater. She made her film premiere as a lead in Stitched, directed by Garth Ennis [Co-Executive Producer/Writer of AMC hits Preacher & The Boys], for which she was featured on a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Kate's four-spot "Bank Happily Ever After" commercial campaign for Technology Credit Union has won two Addy awards, and she's been a lead actor in spots for Kroger, Verizon Wireless, and more.
